CARE in Practice: Housing

County behavioral health (BH) agencies are invited to the new CARE in Practice Series, which will highlight examples from counties engaged in the CARE Act. This CARE in Practice session will focus on housing resources for CARE participants and is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT. The county panelists—representing both urban and rural communities— will discuss strategies for collaborating with service providers to find and provide housing for CARE participants, developing a sustainable continuum of housing options, and takeaways from their CARE participant housing efforts.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the session, participants will have an increased ability to:

  • Understand the key partnerships and funding sources being utilized to provide housing resources.
  • Discuss strategies for investing in housing options that meet community needs and ensure the right mix of interventions.
  • Learn from the successes and challenges of peers in CARE Act delivery.
