In this video, SAMHSA shares how Assertive Community Treatment, or ACT, delivers a full range of community based services to people who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. ACT’s goal is to support individuals with care to help them live a life that isn’t dominated by mental illnesses. With ACT, people are supported to take care of their basic needs and their behavioral health recovery goals.
